Itinerary:

Note: I will increase the number of participants if we get more drivers.

I checked with the Horseshoe and they will open on the New Year Day. Since we have to work the next day, I am planning to have a short ski trip on the New Year Day.

Itinerary

Morning: We will leave at the carpool location (Downsview Station) at 9:15am and arrive at the Horseshoe around 10:30am. Please note that we will not stop for breakfast on the way to Horseshoe. Please have your breakfast at home before the trip :)

Afternoon: We will leave Horseshoe by 2:30pm at the latest and be back at Downsview subway station around 4:00pm.

We will ski separately or in small groups according to your level and pace. There is a chalet with food and drinks. However, the food bar may not be open on the New Year Day. Therefore, you must bring your own lunch and snacks.

Note: I just recently recover from my knee injury. As a result, I am sorry that I won't be able to ski with the group. I will only ski a very short period of time and will rest in the chalet.

A trail pass costs $26.00 (plus tax) per person. If you need to rent equipment, it costs an additional $35.00 (plus tax) for a total of $61.00 (plus tax) per person.

Please answering the following questions when you sign up for the trip.
For drivers, and possible drivers…
1. How many passengers can you take with you, if you take skis and if you don’t take Skis? Also, can you take skis on roof racks? Important for people with long skis.
For everyone...
2. Are you taking skis up with you? Or will you rent them?
