Itinerary:
Let's go for a nice hike along the waterfront. We will meet at Berczy Park and follow this route:
- south down to Queen's Quay and pick up the Waterfront Trail
- west along the Waterfront and Martin Goodman Trails to High Park
- north along the western trails to High Park Subway Station

Route Rundown:
Total Distance: 11km
Pace: Between 4.5 - 5.0 km/h
Expected Time: 2 - 2.5 hrs
Trails: Mostly paved trails with some gravel trails near the end
Terrain: Very flat with one hill near the end

Be sure you dress warmly as it can get very windy along the lake. The trails in High Park are poorly lit, so please bring a headlamp or flashlight so you can see where you are going.

Please plan to arrive before the posted start time, we will be leaving immediately at 6:30pm. I will turn my phone off once we begin, so any calls or messages will likely not be returned until the end of the hike. This hike will go forward rain or shine. A high risk of a thunderstorm (80%+) 24 hours prior may result in postponement or cancellation.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Berczy Park is located one block east of Yonge St between Front St E and Wellington St E. It is a short walk from both King and Union subway stations.

We will meet at the southwest corner of the park (Front St E & Scott St). Look for me with a black backpack and a navy blue toque.
