Itinerary:

NOTE: THE CARPOOL LEAVES SHEPPARD WEST STATION @ 9 AM

This is an intermediate to advanced hike with very hilly and rolling sections of terrain. One of the most challenging parts of this hike are three consecutive hills, known as the 3 Sisters.

Great views along the escarpment, including towards the end of the hike, walking along the top of a ski resort, which has a fantastic view of the valley. Totally worth it.

Approx. distance is 24 KM. If you cannot walk the entire distance, please do not sign up for this hike

NOTE: There are no washroom facilities at this event

How to Get There:

Event Directions: Leaving Sheppard West- take the Allen Road south to the 401.

-Travel west along the 401 to Highway 400 North in the direction of Barrie. Travel 35 km.

-Get off at Highway #9 and travel westbound for 37 km.

-Turn right @ 3RD Line and travel north for 6 KM (WARNING: There is no traffic light at 3RD Line and is approx 5 KM past Airport Road)

-Turn left onto Hockley Valley Road (Regional Road #7) and travel for about a km.

-Look for Hockley Valley entrance on the right!
