Itinerary:
Last year on Halloween I accidentally discovered a street whose residents go absolutely bonkers decorating their yards and houses for Halloween. I found another house nearby that has crazy decorations for pretty much every holiday along with many of their neighbours. These streets intersect, so let's go for a leisurely walk on Halloween Eve to check out all the crazy, awesome, and hilarious decorations, without the chaos of trick or treaters and pranksters.

We will meet at Dundas West Station and head to the street with the one single house that is particularly interesting. We'll continue over to the other street that has a lot of Halloween decorations. Then we'll meander through the neighbourhood looking for other houses with lots of decorations, eventually ending at Runnymede Subway Station.

This will be a true urban hike, we will be walking strictly on sidewalks. There aren't any major hills on the route, one rolling section. We'll be walking around 4.0km/h and we'll cover between 5-6 km total. This will be a nice leisurely walk.

Please plan to arrive before the posted start time, we will be leaving immediately at 7:30pm. I will turn my phone off once we begin, so any calls or messages will likely not be returned until the end of the hike. This hike will go forward rain or shine. A high risk of a thunderstorm (80%+) 24 hours prior may result in postponement or cancellation.
