Itinerary:

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND WE ARE DOING THIS TRIP AGAIN!! **Experienced Canoeists ONLY – must be 18+** (must be able to carry a canoe with backpack) • Day 1 (Wednesday NIGHT Jun 28): Meetup at carpool then drive up to Achray Campground, Algonquin. Overnight in Achray Campground. • Day 2 (Thursday Jun 29): Quick stop to pick up permits at the outfitter if needed(all canoes will be near Achray Campground, at Grand Lake). Launch in the morning from Grand Lake and paddle to St Andrews. Set up camp at St Andrews. • Day 3 (Friday June 30): from St Andrews to Opalescent Lake + multiple portages. Set up camp in Opalescent Lake. • Day 4 (Saturday July 1): from Opalescent Lake to the Lower Barron + multiple portages. Set up camp in the Lower Barron Canyon. • Day 5 (Sunday July 2): from Lower Barron to Squirrel Rapids. Shuttle back from Squirrel Rapids parking lot to Achray Campground. Drive back to Toronto. You are responsible for arranging your own equipment. If you need help with this I can point you in the right direction.

Required Items to Bring:
Gear: Sleeping bag. Well insulated sleeping pad. Tent. Dry warm clothes for sitting around the camp after canoeing. Bring your own food, stove, tarps, extra rope and saw.
