First power walk of 2012. We will hike at 6+ km/h for approximately 12 km. Not suitable for beginners. This is going to be a fast hike. Come for the challenge, but be prepared to drop out before we enter the ravines if you can't keep up

We will be hiking from King/Yonge Station to College/Yonge Station along the following route.

  1. Depart from SE Corner of King and Yonge
  2. King St E to bridge, take steps down to ravines, then north
  3. Around the Brickworks
  4. Exit the ravine at Craigleigh Gardens
  5. Walk until Castle Frank Subway Station
  6. Go down the Rosedale Valley
  7. Cross the Necropolis Cemetery
  8. Finish at College and Yonge

One steep hill.

Preference on the waiting list may be given to those who have already gone on a brisk walk or power walk, or have otherwise demonstrated that they are fast hikers.
