Itinerary:

The terrain is variable, rocky with hilly sections. Length of hike is 21 km for drivers, 23.3 for passengers, pace 5 km/h. The exact distance and pace will be determined by trail conditions. Map 8.

This hike is suitable for advanced or strong intermediate hikers. It is not suitable for beginners. Hikers coming on this event are expected to have preferably D5 or minimally D4 level hiking experience on the hike leader's events. Participants should have previous experience on 20 kilometer hikes and must be able to maintain a continuous pace of 5 km/h on variable terrain. If it isn't obvious from your TOC record that you can do this hike, please, when registering, include some comments in the notes to convince me that you can keep up (otherwise you'll be removed.)

When we arrive at the meeting location, we will arrange a car shuttle to the junction of Valley and York Roads.

We will start on the Ray Lowes Side Trail, and make a large curve around the Dundas Valley, visiting Borer’s, Tew’s, Webster’s, Canterbury, and Sherman Falls. Along the way we will hike from the top of Webster's falls down to the beautiful natural landscapes in the creek valley of Spensor Gorge, and then descend the stairs to return to the main trail. Passengers will continue on past Tiffany Falls while drivers go back to collect the cars.

Those willing to drive will get priority on the waiting list.
