EVENT DETAILS

So, I've randomly selected a hike out of my personal urban hiking database for today's hike.

This 14.5 KM hike will travel between York Mills & Lawrence Station.

We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, neighborhood sidewalks and gravel paths, single dirt trails and even through a cemetery at one point.

In terms of hills, there's probably about 2 hills of at least 50 meters and one long staircase, also just under 50 meters.

We'll stop at Edwards Gardens for a washroom about 1.25 hours into the hike. There's a 2nd option in Sunnybrook Park, about 2 hours into the hike.
Also York Mills Centre at the start point has a washroom as well.

As this hike is a little longer than my typical urban hikes, we'll do a snack break about 8.5 KM into the hike in Sunnybrook Park.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

York Mills Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway line, seven stops north of Bloor.
We will meet on the North East corner of Yonge/York Mills.
If its raining or cold, I'll just be inside the York Mills Centre.

For those of you driving, there's a located just south of York Mills on the east side of Yonge Street.
