Itinerary:

So, I've randomly selected a hike out of my personal urban hiking database for tonight's hike.

This 13.5 KM hike will travel between Queens Quay Station to Union Station.
If this map looks a little weird, its because I have to detour around the Gardner closure, which has closed the south side of the Don Trail.

PACE: We'll aim for a quicker pace of 4.5- 5.5 km/h

The hike will be on a combination of multi use paved paths & neighbourhood sidewalks.

In terms of hills, this hike is actually pretty flat, with no climbs over 25 meters.

We'll stop for a washroom break at the Tim Hortons, located about 7.5 KM into the hike.

Please note that since this hike is longer than I was normally do on a night hike, I'm starting 30 minutes earlier at 7 PM.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

So, we'll be meeting on the North- West corner of Bay and Queens Quay, which is just outside of Queens Quay Ferry Docks Streetcar Station.
If its cold or wet, then I'll just be standing inside the building, located on the North West corner.

Queen Quay Ferry Docks Station can be accessed by taking the streetcar south from Union Station.

For those of you driving, there's a public parking lot, located on the north-west corner of Harbour & Bay Street, which is a block north of our meet point.
