EVENT DETAILS


DISTANCE: about 18 km

PACE: FAST, 5 km/h or faster

DIFFICULTY: D4

This FAST hike is rated D4 for length. IT IS FOR EXPERIENCED HIKERS.

We will be hiking on the lower mountain bike trails, so plenty of hills but not as scary as the trails at the top of the ravine.


This 18 KM hike will both start and finish at Lawrence Subway Station.

We will walk to Glendon campus, along the Glendon Forest/Don West trail to Sunnybrook, along Wilket Creek, down the Don Trail to ET Seaton Park, turn back along Beaver Flats at the west side of the Don, up to the Serena Gundy Park Trail to the dog park, along Burke Brook ravine trail to Sherwood Ravine trail, Blythwood ravine trail back to Lawrence Station.

We will be making a brief stop for lunch.

    Lawrence Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard and 6 Stations north of Bloor.

    We'll meet on the South East corner of Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, by the Public Library.
