EVENT DETAILS

So, I've randomly selected a hike out of my personal urban hiking database for today's hike.

This 14 KM hike will travel between Victoria Park & Lawrence Station via some alternative trails in Taylor Creek & Serena Gundy Park.

PACE: We'll aim for a pace of 4- 5 km/h

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, single track dirt trails and some sidewalks.

In terms of hills, there's probably about 3 hills of about 25 meters and one longer climb of 50 meters. Maybe about 3 stair climbs as well, just to make you miserable.

I'll stop at the washroom at Taylor Creek park about 15 minute into the park and the washroom in Serena Gundy, just under 2 hours into the hike.
Since this is a longer urban hike than normal, we'll stop for an extended snack break during the 2nd washroom stop.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE'S A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 1 BETWEEN ST CLAIR AND SHEPPARD-YONGE STATION THIS WEEKEND

PLEASE NOTE THAT LINE 2 IS NOT OPENING UNTIL NOON BETWEEN BROADVIEW AND ST GEORGE STATION
