EVENT DETAILS

So, this is potentially the most difficult urban hike I lead in the city.

We'll spend the majority of the hike on the single track mountain biking trails that traverse the Don Valley.
We'll go from Lawrence Station to Broadview Station for about 18.5 KM.

This hike is incredibly challenging and actually pretty sketchy in several sections.
In terms of hills, well there's just too many to count.
Also, there's the impending doom of mountain bikes on the trail, so you'll have to be careful.

NOTE: Expect to be traveling between 4.0- 10.0 km/h, as the trails can often feel like riding a roller coaster on portions of this hike.
On the flats, I'll probably walking at least 6 km/h.

We'll do a short break about 10 KM into the hike at a viewpoint.

Please also note that should the weather be predicting rain either on this day or the day prior, this hike will be cancelled on safety concerns.
I injured my back on this hike in 2018, after slipping in some mud and I rather that doesn't happen to anyone else.

Sorry, no washrooms on this route.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 2 BETWEEN JANE & OSSINGTON STATION THIS WEEKEND
ALSO, THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 1 BETWEEN SHEPPARD WEST & LAWRENCE WEST STATION
