Looking to come out to an event, but shy to come to your first event?

This hike is a meet and greet event, where aimed at new members looking to come out for one of their first events.

For those of you who might be shy or nervous about coming to your first event, well this is a perfect hike for you.

This event is meant to introduce new members to the club, so only members with 0-5 total events will be added.

Those with six or more events who have signed-up on the waitlist may be added to the event if enough space is available.

During the hike, we'll do introductions about the club and talk about the variety of events.

We'll be hiking through the Don Valley to the Brickworks Christmas Market.

This is a D3 hike - this is an easy hike that most people will be able to participate in.

This is an 9 km hike.

Start Meet at Glendon College (in the Centre of Excellence, by the main desk)
End This hike will end at the Don Valley Brickworks
Distance Approx. 9 km
Pace 4.5 km/hour (average pace for young and healthy individuals, above average pace for others)
Trail Conditions We will be walking on a mix of sidewalks, paved trails and dirt trails.
Difficulty This is a D2 hike.
Weather -1 and sunny

How to Get There:
Event Directions:BY TRANSIT: Take the 124 Sunnybrook Bus from Lawrence Station and get off at Bayview OR take the 11 Bayview Bus from Davisville Station or Bayview Station and get off at Lawrence.

Walk into the new entrance of the main building of Glendon College.
