Itinerary:

Let's hike on the main Bruce Trail and a few side trail loops
There will be some challenging hills to climb, and rocks and roots to negotiate
We'll find a nice spot for lunch

DISTANCE: about 14 km

PACE: 4.5 km/h (slower than my usual pace)

DIFFICULTY: D3

MAX hikers: about 15 (+ or -)
I set the Maximum Group Size to 4, because I can take 3 passengers, but this event can accommodate about 15 hikers.
Passengers will be added as additional drivers become available.

Members who have a good attendance history may get priority.

Members on the waiting list who are willing to drive may get priority. Parking at the trail head is limited.

  • cell phone (in case you get separated from the group)
  • whistle (in case you get separated from the group)
  • Good footwear
  • Water 2 - 3L (or as much as you need)
  • Weather appropriate clothing

If you choose to meet at the event, please arrive before the start time, we will not wait for late comers.
