BIKE: Leisure Group Ride Loop + Lunch (28km|10km/hr) (10/1/2019)

Itinerary:
We'll be riding through Black Creek, Downsview Park, North Park and various side streets. We will stop for a quick bite to eat at Rustic Bakery a (http://therusticbakery.ca/). We will ride back to York University Station afterwards.

We will meet at 3PM. The ride will end at approximately 6:30PM.

This is an 28km ride.

Start Meet in front of the York University Subway Station. There is an elevator at the station. Please arrive on time as we will be leaving at 3:05 PM sharp.
End The ride will end at York University Station. This is a loop ride.
Distance Approx. 28 km
Pace 8-10 km/hour (leisurely pace)
Trail Conditions We will be riding mostly on paved trails.
Difficulty This is a D2 ride. Anyone who rides a bike leisurely will be fine. New cyclists should not come on this ride, as you must be able to keep up with the group.

To attend this event you MUST answer the following questions in the AFFIRMATIVE. You can do so by copying and pasting the questions into the notes sections of the sign up page:

1. Do you agree to wear a bicycle helmet?

2. Are you experienced with riding on roads and knowing hand signals?

3. Does your bicycle fit properly?

4. Is your bicycle in great shape ie tuned-up for the spring, no rusty chain, tired inflated, working brakes etc.?

5. Are you capable of riding 25-30 kilometres? (Approximately 2 hours of riding, with frequent breaks, a 45 minute lunch break, and 1 hour riding back).

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Meet in front of the York University Subway Station (side with the elevator)

BY CAR: Paid parking is available at York University in the Bennett or York Lanes parking garages.

BY TRANSIT: Take the Yonge-University line and get off at York University Station.
