Itinerary:

So tonight's hike will take us past the fantastic Casa Loma, then over to the Don Valley and up to the Chester Hill Lookout for a 10.5 km route. The Chester Hill Lookout is one of my favorite spots in the city, with a fantastic view of Toronto, especially at night.

The toughest bit will be climbing 30 meters up the stairs to Casa Loma, which we'll do within the first 10 minutes of the hike. However, I do have a second challenging hill towards the end of the hike up the hill past Todmorden Mills.

This hike will go from Dupont Station to Broadview Station. The walk will be a combination of neighborhood walking and trail walking.

We'll see if the washrooms are open in Ramsden Park, which is about 45 minutes into the hike. However, if they aren't open, there won't be any other spots to stop. Sadly, there's aren't any spots near the start of the hike, however there are several options at the end.

Today's event also marks my 9 year anniversary as a leader in the TOC, so post hike, I'm gonna head head to Dora's for a quick celebration drink, if you'd like to join me.
