High Park to Harbourfront (~ 9km) (5/25/2019)

Itinerary:

Let's go for a walk from Highpark to waterfront.

We'll be walking on mostly paved and gravel trails, as well as city streets. We will maintain steady 4.5-5km/h pace.


NOTE: this is not a loop hike, we will finish by the Harbourfront Centre, a stone throw away from Union Station. If you are coming to High Park by car, you will have to take the TTC back to the parking lot.

If you are bringing a dog along, the dog must be well-behaved, on a leash at all times, and capable of maintaining the speed for the duration of the hike.

    Event Directions:

    Traveling by subway you get of at the High Park Subway station on the Bloor line. Go to High park avenue and turn right(south). Cross Bloor and enter park I will be there around the Map.

    Traveling by car going east bound on QEW get off at Lakeshore and turn north on Parkside Drive. Traveling west on QEW/Gardiner get of at Dunn ave and Turn north on Parkside Drive. Follow Parkside to Bloor and turn Left(west) to the next set of lights and turn left into the High Park. There is some parking just inside the park find a spot and walk back to entrance.


    Notes:

    Event goes forward rain or shine. Please come prepared.

    Please arrive on time as I will be turning off my phone once the event starts.
