You are STRONGLY encouraged to read this page in its entirety before signing up. If you'd like to attend, we ask that you abide by our rules and procedures as a time/cost saving process (with an end result of keeping membership free and lower cost events).

Itinerary:
Casual Cycling Ride to the Mississauga Vegetarian Festival in Port Credit.

Starting Location We are meeting at Meet in front of the Coffee Time at 2424 Bloor St. W., located just outside of Jane TTC Station Please arrive on time as we will be leaving at 9:10AM sharp.
End Location This is a loop ride. We are ending at the starting location.
Distance Approx. 40km of cycling.
Pace 10 km/hour IMPORTANT NOTE:This is a slower pace for an avid cyclist, an average pace for an urban commuter cyclist, and a faster pace than the occasional cyclist. Please make sure your bike is tuned- up before coming on this ride - I will ask you to turn back and go home if you are slowing down the rest of the group.
Trail Conditions The route for cycling is almost entirely on separated bike lanes, side streets and multi- use trails.
Difficulty Anyone who rides a well-tuned bike regularly should be fine.
Weather 25 degrees and sunny

To attend this event you MUST answer the following questions in the AFFIRMATIVE. You can do so by copying and pasting the questions into the notes sections of the sign up page:

1. Do you agree to wear a bicycle helmet?

2. Are you experienced with riding on roads and knowing hand signals?

3. Does your bicycle fit properly?

4. Is your bicycle in great shape ie tuned-up for the spring, no rusty chain, tired inflated, working brakes etc.?

5. Are you capable of riding 40 kilometres? (Approximately 1.5 hours of riding, with frequent breaks, a 45 minute lunch break at the vegetarian festival, and 1.5 hours riding back into Toronto).
