LATE AFTERNOON HIKE: Bessarion Loop + Optional MEC Talk: How to Hike The Entire Bruce Trail (6km|4.5km/hr) (4/17/2019)

Itinerary:
We'll be hiking along Newtonbrook Creek and through the Burbank neighbourhood of North York.

While not obligatory to attend, after our hike MEC is hosting a talk at 6:30PM on how to hike the Bruce Trail from end to end.

This is a D2 hike - it is pretty easy, other than our pace.

This is an 6 km hike. Please arrive before 5:00PM - we will be departing at 5:02PM SHARP

Start Meet in from the MEC North York store at 784 Sheppard Avenue East.
End This is a loop hike. The hike will end at the starting location.
Distance Approx. 6 km
Pace 4.5 km/hour (average pace for fit and younger individuals, above-average pace for others)
Trail Conditions We will be walking on a mix of sidewalks, paved trails and dirt trails.
Difficulty This is a D2 hike. The hike is a mix of dirt trails and paved trails/sidewalks and will take about 1.5 hours. Our pace is slightly faster than normal hiking.
