Itinerary:
I'm trying to expand my pizza horizons, so here is the first ever H4S event in North York. We will meet in front of the Locke Branch of the Toronto Public Library across the street from Lawrence Subway Station and follow this route:

- Southeast along Blythwood Ravine
- East though Sherwood Park
- Up Bayview to Sunnybrook Hospital
- Take a short washroom break at the hospital
- Continue southeast through Sunnybrook Park, then turn back west through Serena Gundy Park
- West through some neighbourhood streets
- West through Sherwood Park
- West through some more neighbourhood streets
- Head to a nearby pizza joint for a slice (if you wish)

Please note the hike will end about a 5-8 minute walk from Eglinton Station or about a 12-15 minute walk back to Lawrence Station.

I'll be heading to a local pizza joint after the hike for a slice, but this part of the event is optional. This pizzeria features a fairly thin very crunchy crust. They have several different slices to choose form, including several vegetarian options. This place also has other food options and serves beer and coffee, so if pizza isn't your thing you may still find something to your liking.

Route Rundown:
Distance: 10.5 km
Pace: 4.5 - 5.0 km/h, a fairly leisurely pace
Expected Time: 2 - 2.5 hours + pizza time
Trails: Mostly well established dirt trails some paved/gravel sections and sidewalks
Terrain: Two decent sized hills and a few rolling sections.

Please plan to arrive before the posted start time, we will be leaving immediately at 10:30am. I will turn my phone off once we begin, so any calls or messages will likely not be returned until the end of the hike. This hike will go forward rain or shine or snow. A high risk of a thunderstorm (80%+) 24 hours prior may result in postponement or cancellation.
