Itinerary:

LONG Weekend Car Camping Trip to Killarney Prov Park (4 full days, 3 nights) with opportunities to hike or canoe/kayak and/or relax on the beach :)..... Registration opens on March 21 at 10:00 pm

An outstanding wilderness park on the northern shore of Georgian Bay offers exceptional hiking and canoeing opportunities... I booked 2 campsites which can accommodate up to 12 people (6 tents maximum). Be prepared to share a tent if needed. You have to take Friday, May 18 off in order to join as we want to avoid bad traffic and long exhausting drive to the park. A mandatory pre-trip meeting to discuss gear, food etc. will be held on May 10, Thursday at 7 pm. You have to pay me $25 directly between April 10 (registration cut-off) and April 18.

I will organize hiking trips right after breakfast until lunch/early afternoon or longer on Saturday and Sunday. This is depending on weather conditions and fitness of participants. If the weather is dry and sunny, we might try a backpacking trail just for a day.

If you want to canoe or kayak instead, you can make an arrangement to rent a canoe or kayak at Killarney Outfitters Click here for Killarney Outfitters

We will have communal dinners on Saturday and Sunday and, possibly, communal breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday as well. We will discuss food options during our pre-trip meeting. On Monday (last day of our trip), we will drive to the nearby Killarney village to have a lunch at Herbert Fisheries - the best 'Fish and Chips' in Ontario :) - before heading back to Toronto.

Those willing to drive may get preference on the waiting list.
