Itinerary:

The flats is the name of a mountain biking trail in the Don Valley, which is well flat and follows the river.

Despite this hike's name, it isn't actually flat, heck we will be climbing out of the valley twice.

This hike will vary from neighborhood sidewalk to dirt trails to even a set of commissioned railway ties, so I'd suggest wearing hiking boots or hiking shoes, as, well it could be slippery.

This hike will go from Castle Frank Station to Broadview Station and distance for this hike is 12 KM. Oh, and i highly suggest that you bring a flashlight.

Please note, that there are no washrooms near the start of this hike

Water 1-2 L and snacks

Flashlight or headlight

Weather appropriate clothing

Castle Frank Subway Station is located on the Bloor Subway Line, two stops east of Yonge Station.

Will will meet at the entrance exiting to Castle Frank Road.
