Itinerary:

DISTANCE: about 20 km

PACE: 5+ km/h expect a workout!

DIFFICULTY: D4 (distance + hills + pace)


For advanced hikers, or intermediate hikers who want to challenge themselves! We will be hiking at a lively pace. Expect a workout!

This hike is not for beginners, or for hikers who are not in good physical shape. Everyone will be expected to keep up with the group.

A hilly hike with a lot of interesting lookouts, and creeks and bridges
We will hike on the main Bruce Trail and a few side trail loops, covering more of BT than shown in the map above.
We'll find a nice spot for lunch


MAX hikers: about 12 (+ or -)
I set the Maximum Group Size to 4, because I can take 3 passengers, but this event can accommodate about 12 hikers.
Passengers will be added as additional drivers become available.

Members on the waiting list who are willing to drive may get priority. Parking at the trail head is limited.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER THE CARPOOL QUESTION REGARDING THE # OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR!!!

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $36.18 (calculated at total Km * $0.201, effective Monday, May 22, 2017). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.
