Itinerary:
For this event, we will join the Friends of the Don East (www.fode.ca) to plant trees and help our local environment! FODE says:

"Join Friends of the Don East as we continue our restoration of Taylor Creek Park. Help plant 200 on this gentle hillside below Stan Wadlow Park. "

Note that shovels and gloves will be provided!

This is a great "feel good" activity - you're helping the environment (Al Gore would be so proud of you!) and it's terrific for those would-be gardeners who live in apartments or condos. Come on out, lend a hand, and have fun!!! :)

Event Directions:Meet at the parking lot below Stan Wadlow Park, at the end of Haldon Avenue.

Transit access via Cosburn 87 bus from either Broadview or Main Stations.
