Itinerary:
I'm planning to give up junk food for the month of February, so I figured I should probably make a trip to one of my favourite slice joints before then.

We will meet at Eglinton West Station and hike the following route:
- South through Cedarvale Park and Nordheimer Ravine
- East through the Republic of Rathnelly and Ramsden Park
- East along Rosedale Valley Rd
- West through neighbourhood streets to Church & Wellesley
- Head to a nearby pizza joint (if you wish)

Route Rundown:
Distance: 10.5km
Pace: Between 4.5 - 5.0 km/h
Expected Time: 2 - 2.5 hours + pizza time
Trails: Gravel trails and sidewalks.
Terrain: Some rolling sections and a few sets of stairs

After the hike I will take anyone interested to a local pizza joint for a slice, but this part of the event is optional. This pizzeria features a few different slices to choose from, including vegetarian options.

Please plan to arrive before the posted start time, we will be leaving immediately at 6:30pm. I will turn my phone off once we begin, so any calls or messages will likely not be returned until the end of the hike. Traction devices/icers are highly recommended in case some of the trails are icy. Considering the goofy weather, I'd say this is highly possible, please bring them if you have them.

See the map below for the rough hiking route. Click the points for transit info.

The hike will go forward rain or shine or snow. A high risk of a thunderstorm (80%+) 24 hours prior may result in postponement or cancellation.

Required Items to Bring:
Warm comfortable hiking boots
Weather appropriate clothing
1 - 2 L of water
