Itinerary:
Note: If we get more drivers, I will increase the number of the participants. If you are a driver, please indicate how many people and bikes that you can take on your car.

We leave Toronto very early in the morning, so we can enjoy the lovely morning ride. Personally, I hate waking up before 10am, but for cycling, I am willing to wake up that early.lol.

Biking distance is 55 km (note: I changed the meeting location at Hamilton; therefore, the distance increased). Elevation: + 320 / - 320 m. This is not a beginner ride. It is a bit hilly, but not difficult either. Having a road bike will save you lots of energy and is highly recommended.

Please be on time for the carpooling. We don't wait for people.

However, if you feel that you just want to walk. That's fine as well. But if you choose not to cycle, remember that we are going to meet at the parking lot at 11am. Please don't be late!! You can visit the Botanical Garden near the parking lot or just walk around the city.

Itinerary

7:15am-7:30am loading your bike/gears
7:30 am depart from York Mill station to cycling
8:30 am arrive at the parking lot
8:45am-11:00am cycling

NOTE: the parking lot location changed!! The reason for change is because I confirmed that the parking lot at Dundurn castle is free, no worries of getting a ticket!

We start cycling at the parking lot at Dundurn National Historic Site.

The address is: 610 York Boulevard Hamilton ON.

If you choose to meet at the event, please meet at this parking lot no later than 8:30am.

Here’s the map!

Note: I found the route on the ridewithgps.com quite a while ago, and I edited a bit. It was designed by another person (forgot the name…will add on if I found it. Thanks for some nice people who found a nice route for us!

Please download the map on your phone or print it out. We ride on our own speed. However, I like to socialize, so it can be good to stay together. We can discuss more when we meet.
