Itinerary:

This is a short, relatively flat route that features a couple of small hills towards the end. Good for beginners wanting to get ready for summer season. We'll go at a moderate pace (4.5 km/hr).

Be prepared! It can be very windy down along the lakeshore, making it a couple of degrees cooler than in the city.

Route

  1. Start at Old Mill subway station
  2. Head south through King's Mill Park
  3. Cross the Humber River Bridge
  4. East along the Martin Goodman Trail
  5. North through High Park
  6. End at Runnymede subway station

Please arrive on time as we will be leaving within five (5) minutes of the start time.


Required Items to Bring:
  • Good footwear - running shoes
  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Light source (flashlight, headlamp, etc.)
  • Recommended Items to Bring:

  • Snacks

    This hike will go on rain or shine. I will not be checking my email the morning before the hike and will turn off my cellphone once we start.
