Itinerary:

Doors Open is an annual series of events, when many sites in Ontario communities open their doors to the general public. We'll visit 4 such sites in Toronto, and hike along the Don River valley.

We will meet outside the Rosedale TTC station at 10:00 am, and then visit the following places, traversing the Don River valley along the way:

Hare Krishna Temple (ISKCON Toronto) 243 Avenue Rd Tour the ornately carved temple which occupies a former limestone church building. Taste free food samples at the temle restaurant, and learn meditation in 5 minutes. Permitted
Todmorden Mills Heritage Site 67 Pottery Rd Discover the lives of Toronto families of 1890s and 1940s through two historic homes. Interior photography/filming Not permitted
Ismaili Centre Toronto 49 Wynford Dr Visit the magnificent prayer hall with crystalline glass dome roof and the exhibit hall. Photography/filming not permitted in prayer hall
Aga Khan Museum 77 Wynford Dr Visit the Museum's Atrium, Courtyard, Auditorium, and Bellerive Room. Enjoy the scenic Aga Khan Park. Photography without tripod permitted, interior filming not permitted

The hike officially ends at Aga Khan Museum. TTC can take you back home.

Optional: If anyone is willing to walk more, we can walk all the way to Toronto Botanical Gardens (+4 km), and even Lawrence subway station (total ~20 km).
