Itinerary:
This may end up being my 102nd TOC event, which calls for a nice evening hike and a slice of pizza.

We will meet at Davisville Station and follow this route:
• East along the Beltline Trail then south down Mt Pleasant Rd.
• Pickup the Beltline Trail again and do a clockwise loop to Rosehill Reservoir.
• West through Casa Loma and Republic of Rathnelly neighbourhoods.
• Up the 100+ stairs at Casa Loma then north on Spadina Rd.
• Northwest along Nordheimer Ravine to St. Clair & Bathurst.
• Head to a nearby pizza place for a slice (if you wish).

Route Rundown:
Distance: About 10km
Pace: Between 4.5 - 5.0 km/h
Expected Time: 2 - 2.5 hours + pizza time
Trails: Mix of gravel and paved trails and sidewalks.
Terrain: Generally flat although there are three sets of stairs and another pretty good climb.

Please bring traction devices (icers) of some sort. I'm hoping we won't need them, but if we do and you don't have them, you might not have much fun.

After the hike, I will take any interested hikers to a local pizza joint for a slice, but this part of the event is optional. This pizzeria features square slices of medium crust pizza. There are several different types of slices, including a few vegetarian options. Although you can get a slice at this place for under $5, the price of the different types of slices varies, so you may need slightly more than $5 depending on what you like. A 5er and some change should have you covered.

See map below for start/end points and the rough hiking route. Click the points on the map for transit information.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Davisville Station is on the Yonge Subway (also known as Line 1) located at the corner of Yonge St & Davisville Ave/Chaplin Cres.

We will meet at the main entrance on the SW corner of the intersection of Yonge and Davisville Ave/Chaplin Cres. Look for me with a black backpack and dark blue toque with a hilarious pompom.

Notes:
Please plan to arrive before the posted start time, we will be leaving immediately at 6:30pm. I will turn my phone off once we begin, so any calls or messages will likely not be returned until the end of the hike.

The hike will go forward rain or shine or snow. A high risk of a thunderstorm (80%+) 24 hours prior may result in postponement or cancellation.
