Hike to Village of Islington Murals (~7 Kms) (10/17/2015)

Itinerary:

We'll follow this route

  • Start from Old Mill Subway Station.
  • Continue North West on Home Smith Park Rd along the Humber River towards Dundas St W.
  • Head West on Dundas St W towards Royal York and Dundas intersection to view the two new murals recently inaugurated on 19th Sep.
  • Follow the green path South West towards the Tom Riley Park.
  • From the Islignton and Dundas St W walk South West on Dundas St W to view all the murals at the Village of Islington.
  • End at Kipling Subway Station.

    We will walk at a pace of 4.0 - 4.5 km/h.

    Please be on time, the hike will start at sharp 10:05am.

  • Required Items to Bring:

    Good footwear (might be muddy at places, so hiking boots recommended)

    Water 1-2 L and snacks

    Camera

    Weather appropriate clothing (rain jacket incase of light rain)

    Old Mill Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth Subway line, 12 stops west of St. George and 3 stops east of Kipling.
