Itinerary:

I read an excellent article about Mimico Creek's concrete canyon by Toronto Star columnist Shawn Micallef -- see article. And so, we will be walking thru this canyon as a small digression from the regular Old Mill to High Park route. This will be a true urban hike, and as a disclaimer, we will be briefly walking by highways and construction sites, as well as parks and beaches.

Meet Old Mill subway station, Sunday August 30, 6 PM
Highlight Mimico Creek's concrete canyon -- see article
Distance 13 km
Pace 4.5 km/hour
Weather Cancellation in the case of heavy rain, lightning and/or thunder -- see forecast
