What's SUP!...

SUP is an acronym that stands for “standup paddleboarding” - one of the fastest growing watersport in the world. Standup paddle boarding has its roots where all modern board sports have their beginnings, in Hawaii. It’s an off-shoot of surfing and is basically a combination of surfing with kayaking. SUP provides a full-body cross-training workout with a focus on core balance. It’s a very popular paddle sport for the ocean and surf, lakes and rivers, and remote back-country routes.

SUP Lesson and Guided Tour with Collingwood-based adventure outfitter, Free Spirit Tours.

This introductory and fun 3-4 hour event is for those who want more time on the water and really want to get a full paddle board experience. You'll go further out on the water and get an amazing view of the shoreline and really hone in on the skills you’ve learned. Outfitter will provide the instruction and equipment along the beautiful shores of Canada’s longest freshwater beach - Wasaga Beach, Area 3. If winds are too strong, we'll re-route the event on the nearby Nottawasaga River.
