Itinerary:
It's a made up holiday, so what better way to celebrate than to go on a nice hike and follow it up with a nice refreshing beverage at a pub? Can't think of anything better? Then come on out.

The hike will start at Dundas West station. From there we will head north on the Toronto Railpath. Once we reach the end, we will turn east and hike through some neighbourhood streets and parkettes to Ramsden Park. We'll continue east through some more parks until we meet up with the Beltline Trail and follow it north along Yellow Creek until we reach the mystery pub at the end of the hike near Yonge & St Clair.

The hike route is just under 12km long and we will be hiking at a pace of about 5.0 km/h. I expect the hike to take about 2.5 hours. There are some hills along the way, including one rather large one at the end to make sure you earn your pint. We will be hiking on a combination of paved trails, dirt/gravel trails, and sidewalks, so I recommend a good pair of hiking shoes.

Following the hike, we will proceed to the aforementioned mystery pub for beverages and/or food.

Since there will be a reservation made at the pub, this part of the event is MANDATORY.
If you sign up for this hike, you will be expected to go to the pub after and socialize. Otherwise you are taking a spot from someone who otherwise wanted to attend

Please plan to arrive before the posted start time, we will be leaving immediately at 5:30pm. This hike will take place rain or shine.

See map below for start/end points and the rough hiking route. Click the points on the map for transit information.
