Itinerary:

New hike for a pint location!

The event starts at Chester station, ends near College station, with many ups and downs in between. I hope to go at a moderate pace (4.5 km/hr.).

This route includes a mixture of paved and dirt trails. Please wear appropriate footwear.

Route:

  1. start at Chester subway station, head north
  2. head down Pottery Rd.
  3. turn onto Crothers Woods trail
  4. head north on Bayview Ave, then up a set of stairs
  5. head towards the Heath Street bridge, down into Moore Park Ravine (NOTE: construction happening so it might be muddy)
  6. up Milkman's Lane, past Castle Frank subway station
  7. down onto Rosedale Valley Rd,
  8. up stairs to side streets in Cabbagetown.
  9. cut through Allan Gardens on our way to the pub.

Hike ends within walking distance of College subway station. This pub sells $4 pints of its house lager.

Like all hikes for a pint, coming out afterwards to socialize is part of the event. Please keep this in mind when signing up for the event.
