And what is the event? Basically you rent a tube and take a ride down the Grand River, in great company of course! We will meet at the car pool and then drive to the Grand River Rafting Company. If meeting at the event, please note address below. Once all there, we'll collect our tube, our PFD (which is mandatory and must be worn at ALL TIMES), a map, and a dry bag which will be provided for towels, cameras/devices, etc.

Our start time is 12:30pm but we must arrive by noon to begin signing the waiver and collecting our equipment. We will be traversing the Cayuga Route and will travel approximately 8km (2-3 hour route depending on speed of the river). Most of the route can be described as a 'lazy river' although there are a few short rapid sections. We will exit at the picnic area. Once we exit the water, we can relax, have a snack or take a swim. A shuttle bus will return us to our starting point so we can head back to the city.
