Itinerary:

Scramble?? This D4 event has nothing to do with eggs.

This D4 hike is not long, it is not fast.
It is a D4 because we will be scrambling up and down VERY STEEP HILLS,
(you may have to grab trees on the way up and down),
and hopping from rock to rock to cross the creek.
Bridges? What bridges?!
The scrambling may or may not be on paths!
Whatever looks interesting at the time, there we go.

We will be hiking to Wilket Creek Park and scrambling up and down very steep hills wherever we find them, sometimes on rocky and rooty paths, sometimes making our own paths. We'll be crossing the creek by hopping rock to rock. If you think urban hikes are tame and lame, this hike will change your mind. I don't know exactly which hills or how many hills, we'll figure that out on the fly.

We will start and end at Lawrence subway station, (S.E. corner of Yonge St & Lawrence Ave)

Everyone starts on the waiting list, and may be added to the event based on suitable hiking experience.
This event is restricted to experienced hikers who are very steady on their feet, like a mountain goat!

==> If you have not been on a CHALLENGING hike with me, please send me an email describing your recent hiking experience on STEEP terrain.
==> I need to receive your email before I can consider adding you to this event.

(The Registration Cut Off is in the past to force everyone on to the waiting list.)
