Itinerary:

This is a route I've seen other volunteers do and now I to try it. It's decently challenging with 2 tough hills as well as a long staircase.

In terms of walking, we'll be on some ravine trails, some roads, an abandoned railpath as well as some single track trails.

Route

  • Over to Glen Rd., head north
  • Down through Chorley Park & Brickworks to abandoned railway line
  • East through Crothers Woods to Beechwood Dr.
  • South through side streets then down Pottery Rd.
  • South along Bayview Ave, meet up with Betline Trail and Milkman's Lane

We'll probably aim for a pace of 4.5 km/hr.

This hike will start and end at Castle Frank subway station. The total distance should be roughly 11 km (give or take 1/2 km).
