Itinerary:

There's nothing like a pint and sausage to start the week off on the right foot. This hike will include crossing THREE pedestrian only bridges!

We'll be walking at moderate pace of 4.5 km/hr. In order to make our reservation, we need to maintain this pace so please be mindful of this when you sign up.

Route:

  • Meet at High Park subway station, walk south-east through the park
  • Cut through a side path to pedestrian bridge in front of Palais Royale
  • East along the Waterfront Trail
  • Across another pedestrian bridge onto the CNE grounds
  • Through a Go Train tunnel to Liberty Village
  • East through Garrison Park
  • Cross Puente de Luz pedestrian bridge
  • Walk to our destination
Total distance: 9.6 km

After the hike we'll go for a quick $5 pint of craft beer or cider and some sausages. The sausages will definitely appeal to adventurous eaters: rabbit, duck, bison, kangaroo, vegan, and traditional beef, pork + chicken too. Meat is all natural with no byproducts, fillers, or growth hormones.

Anyone who signs up for this hike must be willing to come and socialize at the pub or else you will be taking a spot from someone else.
