Itinerary:

New to the Toronto Outdoor Club?

Looking to come out to an event, but shy to come to your first event?

This hike is a meet and greet event aimed at new members looking to come out for one of their first events.

For those of you who might be shy or nervous about coming to your first event, well this is a perfect hike for you. We've all been there at some point. So come out to this meet and Greet Hike.

During the hike, we'll do introductions about the club and talk about the variety of events.

We'll meet at St. Clair subway station outside of the McDonalds on St. Clair Ave.

Route:

  1. East through the Mount Plesant Cemetery
  2. South through Moore Ravine
  3. Around past the Brickworks
  4. North through David Belfour Park
  5. End back at St. Clair Station.
For those interested, we will go Scallywags afterwards for a pint.

Total distance covered is about 6.5 km.

This trail is one of the easiest to walk in the city and should be fun for hikers or walkers of all levels. We will be going at slow-to-moderate pace (4 - 4.5 km/hr.).

This event is meant to introduce new members to the club, so members with 0-5 total events will get first option on available spots.

Those with six or more events may be moved to the wait list to accommodate new members. Members with six or more events could be added two days before the event, should there be spots available.

If you have any questions please contact Ryan via email, ryan-toc@outlook.com.
