Itinerary:

Revue Cinema is one of the oldest still working movie theatres in the city. Let's go watch a film that might be up for several Academy Awards this year (along with winning some Golden Globes). Birdman is a different type of superhero movie starting Michael Keaton, Edward Norton, and Emma Stone.

Please note that while this is a D2 hike, we will be maintaining a moderate pace of 4.5 km/hr. and may go a bit quicker in order to make to the theatre on time.

Tickets are $11.

Our route through High Park will be mainly on the nature trails so we will be going up and down small hills. Please wear appropriate footwear. Traction devices (icers) would be a good thing to have.

Route:

  • Start at Runneymede Station
  • Take probably the longest way possible through High Park to Howard Park Streetcar Stop
  • Head over to the Revue Cinema
  • After the movie, walk up to Dundas West Station.

We will arrive thirty minutes before the start time so we'll all be able to get tickets (they don't sell advance tickets). If you are coming on this hike, it is assumed that you will be coming to the movie. Please don't sign up for this hike if you don't plan on coming to the movie.

After the movie we'll walk up to the streetcar stop / Dundas West subway station.
