Itinerary:

First weekend of the year means we can spend more time hiking around the city. This is a short, relatively flat route that features a couple of small hills. Good for beginners wanting to get ready for winter season. We'll go at a moderate pace (4-4.5 km/hr).

If it has been snowing or there's lots of ice it would be good to bring traction devices (icers). Many of these trails are not maintained in the winter (not shoveled or salted).

Route

  1. Start at Old Mill subway station
  2. Head south through King's Mill Park
  3. Cross the Humber River Bridge
  4. East along the Martin Goodman Trail
  5. North through High Park
  6. End at Runnymede subway station

Please arrive on time as we will be leaving within five minutes of the start time.
