Old Mill to High Park via Humber Bay Park East (~11km) (4/12/2015)

Itinerary:

This hike is try some of the dirt trails along this route. We'll be doing a bit of exploring along the way (which basically means I might get "lost" and have to double back).

We'll follow this route

  • Start from Old Mill Subway Station.
  • Continue South along the Humber River to the Waterfront through the King's Mill Park.
  • Head West towards the Humber Bay Park East.
  • After looping through the Humber Bay Park East trail, head East along the Martin Goodman trail.
  • Head North through High Park
  • End at Runnymede Subway Station.

We will walk at a pace of 4.0 - 4.5 km/h.

Please be on time, the hike will start 10:35am sharp.


Required Items to Bring:
  • Good footwear - traction devices (icers) would be good
  • Weather appropriate clothing (it can be pretty windy along the lakeshore)

    Old Mill Subway Station is located on Line 2 (Bloor/Danforth), 12 stops west of St. George and 3 stops east of Kipling.
