OVERVIEW

SPACE AVAILABLE - If interested, please add yourself to the waiting list, and the Coordinator will contact you. This is a weekend group adventure offering participation in many winter activities. While skating, snowshoeing and tubing will be planned as a group, all activities are optional. Other activities available are fat biking, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and snowboarding, and you'd be welcome to participate in these events on your own. Accommodations will be at the Carriage Hills Resort in 1 bedroom suites. No meals are included, but each condo has a full kitchen so you can choose to make your own meals or we can enjoy the many choices at the resort next door or go into town. Specifics will be sorted out after registration and numbers are confirmed. Each condo offers 1 bedroom with a king-size bed and a double pull out sofa in the living room. We will have up to 4 people in each suite, and sleeping arrangements will be arranged after registration is confirmed. Please be prepared to potentially share a bed with a same sex TOC member; if you'd really rather not share a bed, you can bring your own sleeping pad from home.

As 3 suites have been reserved, we can accommodate a maximum of 12 adults. Everyone will go to the waiting list until payment has been made. Please be prepared to depart Downsview Station at 3:00pm on Friday. Alternate departure times may be possible (to be coordinated after all are registered), but please do NOT register if you cannot depart at 3:00pm from Downsview. Check out time on Sunday is 10:00am so we will be back to Downsview as early as noon on Sunday, unless we decide to stick around and enjoy further activities (to be determined at a later date); for now, plan to depart Barrie around 10:00am.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND COST

The per person cost for the weekend's adventure at the Resort will be a MAXIMUM of $123.53. This includes accommodation for two nights at the Carriage Hills Resort ($106.13), taxes ($13.80) and a non-refundable transaction fee ($3.60) Group activities will be arranged, but all are optional. Additional costs are: all meals, $24 for snowshoe rentals and trail access, $8 for skate rentals and rink access, $4/tubing run, as well as any other activities we choose to participate in. If there is an overage, the coordinator will return the appropriate amount of cash to each individual upon arrival. This initial cost is due up front by paying the TOC's Treasurer and reserves you a spot on the trip. Payment must be received by December 27, 2014 .

Note the $123.53 does not include costs for car pool. Please do not pay your car pool driver directly; the coordinator will collect from each individual and then will pay the drivers.
