OLD MILL TO MIMICO -HIKE TO A BREWERY #1

Our first hike in a series that pairs scenic Ontario trails with tasty local craft beer. Enjoy a fun hike followed by some yummy treats and pick up or try locally brewed beers not carried by the LCBO.

DEPARTURE OLD MILL subway station, Saturday October 18, 3:30 PM.
DISTANCE 9 km
PACE 4.5 -5.0 km/hour. No dropouts or speedsters please.
TRAIL DETAILS We'll follow the Humber river down to the lake. From there we'll follow the lake up towards Mimico and walk through side streets to Black Oak Brewery where the hike will end.
BEER Please do not sign up if you don't want to go to the brewery as you'll be taking a spot away from someone who does! Tickets are available in advance for $10. Please give me a shout to confirm you have bought a ticket here => TICKETS The Islington #110 bus stops outside the brewery for when we are done, or Mimico Go station is a quick 15 min walk for those wanting to go downtown.
HIGHLIGHTS Opportunity to see migrating waterfowl as we pass the picturesque Humber Bay. And try the new Belgian style quad ale at Black Oak, along with divine butter tarts from Tartistry!
PRIORITY Due to the large number of No Shows on my recent events, I'll open up additional spots for people with good attendance records or those who confirm they are definitely coming after Joining the waiting list.
