Discover Toronto's Subway Exits Hike # 1 (12KM) (10/11/2014)

Itinerary:

Ever wonder what those mysterious buildings were around the subway lines in parks or along Yonge Street? Now is your chance to discover them on this early morning hike to get to know the emergency exits for the Yonge-University-Spadina line, part 1. Hike finish time is aligned to allow for joining of one of the other urban hikes afterwards. We will conclude the hike at Lawrence Subway station.

Meet Eglinton West Subway Station, main entrance on Eglinton Avenue Wast, Saturday, October 11 @ 7 AM
Distance 12 km
Pace 4.5 km/hour
Highlight Discover subway emergency exit and emergency service buildings.
Stop TBD local cafe
Option Other after event TOC urban hikes starting at 10am or 10:30am
Weather Hike will run rain or shine. In the event of heavy rain, lightning and/or thunder the hike will be cancelled -- see forecast
