Itinerary:

The Finch Hyrdo Corridor Trail Project is almost done. This should link to the East Don Parkland trails when complete. I want to see where it goes. The website says it should be done by November so let's find out if it is!

This is a new multi-use trail. I haven't been on it yet. We'll be exploring it together so bring a light source (flash light, head lamp, etc.)

  • We'll start at Finch subway station and try to follow as much of the completed trail as possible.
  • If the trail is closed, we will continue along side streets until we get to the East Don Parkland.
  • We'll then head south, ending at Leslie subway station.

This route should be roughly 8 km, but it might be more if we have to backtrack at any point. Hopefully we'll be done within 2 hours.
