Itinerary:

Fall mornings are a great time to hike because it's cool and often pretty. The Don Valley is always good for this. We'll start near Leslie Subway Station and end at Lawrence Subway Station. We will try to maintain a moderate pace of 4.5 km with a couple of breaks.

There are no washrooms at the beginning of the hike. The first public washroom is about halfway. Please come prepared.

We will complete this route.

  1. Start from the South-East Corner of Leslie & Sheppard
  2. South along the Betty Sutherland Trail
  3. Further south along the CN Leside Rail Spur
  4. Past Edwards Gardens
  5. West through Sunnybrook Park
  6. West through Sherwood Park
  7. Continue through several smaller parks to Yonge
  8. End at Lawrence Station

The majority of this hike is pavement walking though parks with few hills, just for fun.
