Itinerary:
Please join me for an adventurous weekend of canoeing, hiking and spelunking (caving). Note all activities are optional. We will depart Kennedy Station at 8:00am on Saturday and once on site, we will collect our reserved canoes (canoes will only be held until 10:30am therefore the early departure time). Then we'll set up camp, have a bite to eat and then head out on the water for the afternoon. Each canoe is $11/hour (2 hour minimum) or $42 for the day, and the expense will be shared with your canoe partners (you can have either 2 or 3 in the canoe ... it's up to you but each canoe should have 1 experienced canoeist and everyone MUST wear a PFD - it's TOC policy). In the evening after dinner, we'll go for a dusk/night hike (there are 3 trails in the Park to choose from).

Sunday morning we will go spelunking. What is spelunking you ask? It is the act of exploring a cave :-) There are 7 caves to be explored. If you are claustrophobic, this is not the activity for you. Although the caves are considered novice, you should be prepared to crawl and squeeze your way through, and also be very careful as they can be very slippery. Some of the caves have an entrance and an exit while others will require backtracking. You should wear layered clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, and you should consider an outer waterproof layer as it can be damp (and cool) inside the caves. Helmets and ropes are not necessary. Note this activity does have a danger component so please be very cautious. You can bring knee pads and a helmet if you prefer.

Due to the distance to the event, drivers are critical to this event. As a result, passengers may get moved to the waiting list until a sufficient number of drivers register. As drivers are added, I will add passengers back on the list in the order they initially registered. .
