Glencairn Loop (~15 km) (4/25/2015)

Itinerary:

A loop including the Belt Line trail that doesn't start or end at Eglinton West station.

Hope to average about 4.5 km/hr for the entire distance. That's means a probably walking speed closer to 5 km/hr. This is route is very flat and almost entirely paved.

Route:

  • Head to Beltline Trail
  • East along Beltline to Yonge St.
  • South through Mount Pleasant Cemetery and Moore Ravine
  • Across the Heath St bridge, down into David Balfour Park
  • Past Summerhill station, west through various parks and side streets
  • North through Cedervale
  • Continue North along Allen trails to Gelncarin

Total distance: 14.8 km

Everyone is welcome to come out for a drink at a local pub afterwards.

    This event goes forward rain or shine. Please come prepared.

    Please arrive on time as I will not be answering texts or emails the morning of the hike. We leave within five minutes (5) after the start time. Plan your travel time accordingly.
