Itinerary:
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN THE START TIME - WE ARE NOW MEETING AT 9:30am AT KIPLING STATION.

We will be visiting a number of historic and architecturally significant sites in Hamilton as part of Doors Open Hamilton. An full itinerary with maps will be provided to all drivers and posted here later.

Please note that while we will be driving to some Doors Open sites, for some sites will be walking upwards of 20 minutes between some sites. Additionally, we'll be on our feet walking through the various sites for most of the day. If you can't manage being on your feet for the entire day, please don't sign up.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AT NO LOCATION WILL WE BE PAYING FOR PARKING.

To get us off to a good start, we'll be hitting up IKEA ETOBICOKE for their famous $1 breakfast and FREE COFFEE (if we get their before 9am).

Doors Open Hamilton goes from 10am to 4pm. Afterwards, we'll have dinner in Hamilton before coming back to Toronto. We will have dinner at Culanto, a Peruvian restaurant in Hamilton - http://culantro.ca/ - It is my favourite restaurant and I highly recommend checking it out if you are in Hamilton!

We will likely be back in Toronto around 6:30pm.

Waitlist preference will go to drivers who are 100% coming. Additional cars/seats may be added.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Please arrive at Kipling Subway Passenger Pickup - WEST SIDE (NEAR THE MAIN TTC ENTRANCE TO THE STATION) at 9:30am - we will be leaving at 9:40AM SHARP. DO NOT BE LATE!

We will be driving along the QEW to Hamilton. We will stop at IKEA Etobicoke for breakfast from 8:45am to 9:10am.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $42.57 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Friday, April 19, 2024).
